HTidal
HTidal is an unofficial Tidal client for Linux which is completely opensource. It's really close to the official Tidal application, but with a few differences:
- It's not modern looking (It makes it more efficient but also less pleasant)
- It supports Linux (The web app is a bit picky with the browser support, reduces audio quality and it doesn't support offline mode and it's also less convenient, so I don't count it)
- It's opensource (which also means that it can have extra functions based on the developer's / modifier's needs)
- It's a native program for Linux (it uses GTK, Python and your local keyring)
- It's extremely lightweight (compared to official solutions)
- It respects your privacy (it does what it should: streams your music from Tidal, nothing more)
- it's reliable (even though it's in beta, mainly because of it's simplicity it has less glitches than the official app on windows)
